Becoming a Volunteer

Volunteers play a vital role in helping the Land Trust implement its mission of land protection and restoration. From our Board of Directors, to tree planters, bulk mailers and event planners, the citizens of Ozaukee and Washington Counties enable progress to be made each and every day. If you're looking for time spent in the outdoors or maybe just a few ours in the office a week, let us know-we always have work.

If you'd like to be part of our growing volunteer team we are looking for help in the following areas:

  • Forest and prairie restoration (Land Stewardship)
  • Invasive species control (Land Stewardship)
  • Assistance in boardwalk construction and trail maintenance
  • Office support- making copies, organizing files, preparing mailings
  • Bulk mail assistance with quarterly newsletter (Open Spaces)
  • Assisting with summer events planning
  • Set up displays at special events

Consider volunteering with The Ozaukee Washington Land Trust. With your help, we can make a difference!
