About the event
Join land trust staff and volunteers as we remove invasive species from the beautiful prairies of this nature preserve. We will be cutting and treating Buckthron and other woody invasive species. If time allows, we will also do some seed collecting of native plants.
In doing so, we will protect the diverse community of native flora present on the preserve. Please dress for the elements and be prepared for hiking off trail. Work gloves are recommended.
Location: Kurtz Woods
Group and family-friendly, children under 12 require parental supervision.
