About the event
Join land trust staff and volunteers as we remove invasive species at Turtle Park, RRF's office headquarters and main prairie. We'll be cutting and treating Buckthorn, removing other Woody invasive species, and other trail maintenance. Possibly seed collecting too.
In doing so, we will protect the diverse community of native flora present on the preserve, and our recently planted trees.
Please dress for the elements and be prepared for hiking off trail. Work gloves are recommended, tools provided.
