LAND STEWARDSHIP AND RESTORATION

Join our stewardship team and volunteer community as we care for and restore the natural habitat for plants and animals, including tree planting, seed collecting, and invasive plant removal on our preserves. Volunteer groups go out Monday - Friday mornings. Open to ages 14+.

 

LAND PROTECTION

Assist with easement monitoring, data collection, and reports for our easement properties in Ozaukee and Washington County. Smart-phone required. Training is provided.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT

Join our staff and volunteer community at the OWLT office. Assist with event coordination, writing, office support, and visitor reception. Training is provided. The volunteer schedule is flexible Monday – Friday, excluding holidays.

 

WILDLIFE MONITORING

If you’re looking to spend time outdoors for just a few hours a week, be part of our team for wildlife and habitat monitoring to collect data on wildlife, plants, soil, and water on the preserves. Training is provided. Seasonal.

 

RYAN’S WORKSHOP

Assist our Stewardship Director with a variety of construction and maintenance projects on the preserves. Whether it is building a new boardwalk, installing new signs and kiosks, or tuning up equipment, your experience is welcome! Share your skills Monday - Friday, March – October.
