LEGACY CIRCLE

The Restoring Lands Legacy Circle is a membership group for those who prioritize land conservation and restoration among their top giving priorities. Legacy Gifts include:

  • Board Service

  • Planned Gifts such as bequests, gifts from a retirement account, or naming Restoring Lands as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy

  • Conservation easements

  • Ongoing monthly or annual support at a personally significant level

  • Major gifts resulting in permanent land protection

There are many charitable planned giving options available to you. For example, you can make a planned gift to Restoring Lands by naming us as a beneficiary of your last will and testament, life insurance policy, or retirement plan.

You can also name Restoring Lands as a beneficiary of a charitable trust. Your attorney or financial advisor can advise you of the various types of charitable trusts and assist you in establishing a trust that is tailored to your personal needs.

Some of the above-mentioned planned giving strategies may have a greater tax benefit to you than others, so please consult with your attorney or financial advisor on which strategy would work best for you.

For further information on how to include Restoring Lands in your charitable giving plans, please contact Carryn Sami, Chief Development Officer, at 262-310-0582.

And, if you have already included Restoring Lands in your estate plan, please let us know. We would appreciate the opportunity to thank and celebrate YOU!
