Kelly Moore Brands, Community Conservation Director

For the past nine years, Kelly Moore Brands has been working to make Milwaukee’s green and blue spaces more equitable, just and biologically diverse. In her previous position, Kelly identified and implemented restoration, revitalization and green infrastructure projects that improve environmental conditions of the Kinnickinnic River Watershed and surrounding community, part of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's Kinnickinnic River Watershed Flood Management Project. With more than 12 years of experience working in the nonprofit environmental sector, Kelly has created successful, on-the-ground projects, from sustainable agriculture to ethnobotany to energy efficiency.
